Darren Ferguson has revealed that he is hoping for more activity in the transfer market before the window closes on Monday afternoon.
When speaking to the press after North End's 1-0 victory against Peterborough United at London Road, Ferguson revealed that there maybe some activity regarding players coming in and going out of the Club. Ferguson said:
"Well I have got five strikers, Chris Sedgwick is out of contract in the summer, so we will wait and see. There might be developments, but there might not.
With the Lancashire Evening Post reporting: "There was no Chris Sedgwick in the squad, the winger in talks with Barnsley about a move to Oakwell". Will Chris Sedgewick return back to Yorkshire permanently by Tea-Time?

The People says Barnsley boss Mark Robins wants home-grown Sunderland striker Noble, on a loan deal.
Noble, 19, has been a prolific scorer at reserve and youth level so far, taking his season's total to 27 across both levels, scoring a hat-trick for Sunderland's Reserves in December against Wigan Athletic.
A former England under-17 international Ryan started his first year at Sunderland's Academy after being the under-16 squad's top scorer in the 2007-08 season.
