Over the last eight years, the average points tally for sixth spot has been around 74 points (2001-2009). Of course, this makes any further dreams we may have for Barnsley FC this season highly improbable, but a top half finish would be a marked improvement on the Davey era.
On the 9th September 2009 Mark Robins et al swept in to Oakwell. What has been achieved in such a short space of time has been nothing short of a footballing miracle.
